TYREN ( The Young Republicans Emerge Now) is what happens when poets meets policy wonks. When coders collaborate with cultural custodians. When street smarts shake hands with systems thinking.

TYREN ( The Young Republicans Emerge Now) is what happens when poets meets policy wonks. When coders collaborate with cultural custodians. When street smarts shake hands with systems thinking.

Not

  • Another NGO without any measurable impact
  • A political party in disguise (we’re beyond partisanship)
  • A protest movement that burns bright and dies fast
  • A skills program that teaches you Excel but not ethics

We Are

  • A civic awakening with a startup mentality
  • A cultural renaissance with digital infrastructure
  • A mental reformation movement that scales

Why Now?

Ahead of the 2023 election, INEC registered 10 million new voters, 84% of them between 18 and 34 — the largest youth share in Nigeria’s democratic history. Yet fewer than three in ten registered Nigerians cast a ballot. The talent arrived. The power did not follow.

Nigeria’s youth have never been more talented or visible, yet they remain disconnected from the systems that govern them. Skill has outpaced consciousness. Competence has outpaced comprehension. That gap between what young people can build and what they are equipped to understand, influence and decide is the civic gap.

It is not an enthusiasm problem. It is an infrastructure problem.

TYREN is built to close that gap — connecting talent with civic intelligence, turning skills into agency, and giving a generation the knowledge to understand systems, question them and shape them.

Our Mission

Drive We exist to DRIVE the change Nigeria forgot how to dream about.
Keep To KEEP young minds from drowning in disillusionment.
Crave To create the transformation we all CRAVE but were too afraid to architect.
Ideal To build the IDEAL Nigeria—not as fantasy, but as blueprint.

Our Vision

To Become Africa’s
Most Powerful
Civic Organisation

Not because we’re loud, but because we’re luminous.
Not because we trend, but because we transform.

We’re rewriting Africa’s story—not with tweets, but with thought infrastructure. Not with slogans, but with systems.

Our Method

The

Framework

TYREN doesn’t do programs. We do paradigm shifts.
Each model is a mindset, a mechanism, and a movement within the movement.

Inculcation

Dismantle. Redefine. Integrate. Volunteer. Engage.

You can’t build a new house on a cracked foundation. Before we empower, we must re-engineer. Before we add, we must subtract the lies we’ve been fed.

Dismantle

the mental slavery masquerading as “Nigerian realism”

Redefine

what’s possible when young minds think beyond borders

Integrate

across tribes, tongues, and territories—because division is the oppressor’s favorite weapon

Volunteer

not as charity, but as civic insurgency

Engage

systems not as outsiders begging, but as insiders building

This is where we hack your worldview. Where limiting beliefs meet their expiration date.
Where “Nigeria can never change” becomes “Watch what we’re about to architect.”

Development

Know. Equip. Empower. Propagate.

Expansion

Consolidate. Reaffirm. Affiliate. Validate. Expand.

Actualization

Initiate. Develop. Experiment. Apply. Lead.

Our Tools

The ReformTech
Platform

TYREN doesn’t operate in silos. We weave. We interlace. We find symphonies from what may be seen as separate songs.
Three Pillars, One Revolution.

Education

Civic literacy that awakens. Learning that transforms. Mind that lead.

Media

Cultural renaissance, not costume. Identity as our power.

Governance

Transparency in real time. Participation made simple. Accountability made inevitable.

Stories From The Republic

“Before TYREN, I thought government was just corruption. After MindShift Bootcamp, I realized it’s a system—and systems can be debugged. Now I’m a policy fellow working on education reform.”

Chioma, 24, Lagos

“REDDD Festival changed my life. I went for the music, stayed for the policy discussion, and left knowing I could actually DO something. Six months later, I’m leading a youth civic group in my LGA.”

Ibrahim, 27, Kano

“Governance360 helped me track my local government budget. I discovered ₦50 million allocated for a road that was never built. I reported it through the app. Three months later, construction started. That’s power.”
